Cooking is one of my past times. I find joy and fulfillment by simply doing it. Curry Powder is one of my many favorite spices too. Its distinct taste and pungent aroma are simply irresistible. To my fascination, I was able to create a healthy and nutritious food. I used to call this dish as “Creamy Curry Fish”.



1 small tuna fish

1 cup fresh coconut milk

¼ cup water

½ cup vinegar

3 pieces of chilli

2 tomatoes

1 onion

4 cloves garlic

1 red bell pepper

4 tablespoon thinly sliced ginger

2 tablespoon curry powder

sugar to taste (optional)

salt and pepper to taste


1. Clean and wash the fish thoroughly by removing the internal organs. Slice it according to your desired size and season it with salt and pepper. Set aside

2. Slice the onion, bell pepper, ginger, garlic, tomato and chilli. Set aside

3. Mix the Curry Powder and Coconut Milk together. Set aside

4. Mix the vinegar and water. Set aside.

5. In a cooking pan, pour all the ingredients and let it boil except the water and vinegar.

6. Once it boils, add the mixed water and vinegar. Season it with salt and pepper again according to your desired taste. Bring to boil until it becomes thicken and oilier the sauce.


FACT: “Tuna fish” as being the main ingredient in this menu is rich in lean protein, vitamins and minerals. The richness in omega-3 fatty acids that can be found in this fish is helpful in lowering the cholesterol level and blood pressure of the person.
